TCPN wants to equip church planters for success. One of our main objectives for the network is to prepare planters for ministry and to give them another level of education on how to plant and sustain a successful church. We have created several environments for both future church planters and current church planters that involve Training future church planters and Coaching current church planters. Our goal is to plant healthy New Testament churches, and we believe that Training and Coaching is a huge element that is missing in preparing and sustaining church planters.
Training Church Planters
Typically, many church planters obtain a solid degree from a university, bible college, or seminary in preparation to be a pastor and leader of a church. But many future church planters lack the specific training needed to know what it takes to plant a church. TCPN wants to create environments where future church planters can receive very specific training from experienced pastors and leaders who not only have a solid degree, but have planted a thriving church from the ground up. It’s critical to know the details of “How-To” plant a church. TCPN will offer future church planters the knowledge and a platform to successfully launch a new church.
Coaching Church Planters
TCPN places a major emphasis on helping sustain church plants and helping church planters grow as effective ministers and leaders of the body of Christ. Every minister needs accountability and growth opportunities. This is where TCPN provides help. We have developed coaching groups to help planters with their real life and everyday needs in ministry. TCPN will use coaching opportunities to walk beside planters, meet them where they are, help them in very specific ways, and provide the tools and resources necessary to enable them be more effective pastors and leaders. You can see our resource section to review some of the books we will work through.
